FAKE BLOOD…

Bursting into our consciousnesses with his murderous re-working of The Black Ghosts’ Any Way You Choose To Give It, Fake Blood then painted the town red with a diverse series of remixes for acts including Armand Van Helden, Bonde Do Role, The Kills, South Rakkas Crew, Unkle and the legendary Underworld.

He soon delivered with his debut original Mars, the dangerously infectious rave melody that managed to find its way on to virtually every “Best of 2008” list.

Having wowed us at Parklife, Fake Blood returns with new productions for Hot Chip and star-in-the-making Little Boots that will ensure he remains the name on everyone’s lips in 2009.

SINDEN…

Sinden, the man behind the Get Familiar parties at London institution Fabric, first grabbed our attention with his collaboration with Switch. The duo’s original productions Din Da Da, Me Mobile, and Red Hot, as well as remix work for Lady Sovereign, Bugz in the Attic and Radioclit popularised the sound facetiously termed “fidget house”.

2007 saw Sinden pair with Joshua Harvey (aka The Count/Herve/Voodoo Chilli) to revolutionize the UK underground scene through club heavy-hitters Tamborzuda, Beeper and Hardcore Girls.

A furious touring schedule with the likes of A-Trak, Steve Aoki and Boys Noize, and the recent release of his Fabric Live 43 compilation has spurred Sinden’s transition from underground talent to international star, a reputation with can only increase thanks to his participation in the Machines Don’t Care project and further remix love for Bjork, Crystal Castles and Metronomy.

BREAKBOT. . .

Thibaut Berland aka Breakbot released his first single ‘Summer Party’/’Happy Rabbit’ on May 21st 2007 on moshi moshi records. He crafts party tunes. Big ones. Parisian Thibaut has mastered the art of melting together all the best elements of dance, electro and funk with skill and precision. And a laptop. Born in 1981, Thibaut was immersed in the sights and sounds of the subsequent decade, and remained appropriately pulled between his love of animation graphics/comics, and music. Possessing a degree in computer graphics, he created his first animation short film co-directed with two friends (“overtime”). He then directed several tv animation commercials and music videos. He helped So-Me on the design of the justice debut album cover.

Thibaut now cooks up choice cut electronic music, experimenting with beats, layers, keyboards, vocals, and Daft Punk-esque get-yo-funk-on basslines. Whilst Breakbot’s remix of Justice’s ‘Let There Be Light’ appears on their Japanese ‘Waters of Nazareth’ 12″, his double A side with Moshi Moshi is his debut solo release. Since then he made remixes for Pacific!, DatA, Late of the Pier, Metronomy, Pnau, Fatlip, Digitalism, Van She and many more.

TREVOR LOVEYS. . .

Trevor’s love of music started at a young age when he discovered electro and hip hop back in the early eighties, he got heavily into the scene collecting all the music he could from various record shops and radio shows broadcasting back then he went on to paint graffiti until his mid 20’s when a close friend bought an akai sampler and roland juno 106 synthesizer, this was to be the turning point and beginning of a journey into production after teaching himself programming and production over a period of 3 years he was ready to put out his first release on the house of 909 imprint, he released around 5 12 inch singles and e.p’s over about a 2 year period then went on to record an Album titled the children we were, that received critical acclaim from music press and fans of his deep house sound,

Then in 2000 he met up with Dave Taylor and started working on various projects together, the most successful of wich was to become the now renound “SWITCH” they released various singles and did some high profile remixes including chemical brothers, basement jaxx and buster rhymes.

He then went on to form the Speaker junk project with Herve another long term friend and production partner, they are continuing to develop this project together with singles and remixes, and after the success of his last solo e.p on Dubsided, Organ Grinder, Trevor is concentrating a lot of his efforts on his solo projects and Djaying.
